Dwight Yorke left Aston Villa football club in order to join English football side Manchester United for twelve point six million pounds. Yorke spent nine football seasons with Aston Villa football club. Dwight Yorke is considered as one of the greatest strikers in the history of Aston Villa football club. Former Premier League striker Yorke scored eighteen goals in his first season with Manchester United football club. Yorke also created an unbelievable strike partnership with former team mate Andy Cole.
Yorke helped Manchester United win the famous treble in his first season there. In the football season of 1999 to 2000 Dwight Yorke scored twenty two times as Manchester United lifted the English Premier League crown. Yorke scored sixty four times in hundred and eighty eight football matches for Manchester United. Yorke left Manchester United and signed with Blackburn Rovers football club for two million pounds. Yorke scored thirteen goals in his first season with Blackburn Rovers football club.
Yorke has also taken part in many World Cup competitions for Trinidad and Tobago’s international football team. Dwight Yorke is considered one of the best strikers in the history of Aston Villa football club. Yorke scored thirteen goals in his first season with Blackburn Rovers football club.
